It feels amazing to make someone feel amazing.
Alone was founded by Dublin fireman Willie Bermingham back in 1977 when he and some friends begain distributing food, fuel and blankets to older people who were most in need. They've been helping older people ever since.
It was a delight to meet Tom and be invited into his home to capture a part of his life that means the world to him.
We created this TVC to bring to the screen what a ‘visit’ from an Alone volunteer looks and feels like. When you lose the love of your life and your close friends suddenly aren’t there anymore, organisations like ALONE become a lifeline.
